In my role within the Genetic Sciences Division, I played a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of cohesive user experiences across a range of product applications. As an integral member of the UX team, I actively contributed to program strategy, visioning, and the definition of requirements. Employing design tools such as Sketch, Figma, FigJam, and Miro, I engaged in iterative design processes to develop and refine user interfaces. Furthermore, I took the initiative to expand the existing design system guidelines, incorporating innovative ideas to enhance the overall user interface and user experience across various platforms.

August 2018 - February 2019 (Contract)

Performed ongoing usability testing to proactively identify user interface-related roadblocks, focusing on improving the product's overall experience (s). Gathered client requirements through customer interviews and led the Product team through ideation sessions in an Agile UX environment. Storyboarded and diagramed potential problems with the interface and conducted information architecture workshops and user-focused design sessions. Developed interactive prototypes and user flows according to the end users’ requirements.

October 2017 - February 2018 (Contract)

Ensured the design concepts were appropriate for the targeted audience and marketing goals set by the client while also meeting WCAG 2.0 compliance. Gathered design requirements from clients and presented concepts, wireframes, and mockups. Created UI mockups and documentation for the developers to take to production. Produced HTML, CSS templates, and other code necessary for interface appearance and functionality.

March 2017 - May 2017 (Contract)

Created journey maps, user flows, and UI mockups according to user personas. Optimized UX/UI designs through review and analysis of user needs and provided technical assistance and guidance to designers, developers, and QA. Recommend new and emerging assistive technology solutions to increase accessibility by WCAG 2.0.

Defined and prepared UI features within the product, both new and updates to the existing software. Designed and created annotated screen mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes demonstrating the end-user experience.
