My passions in life are good design and board sports. Besides making really cool user experiences. I intend to make an impact on society by creating organic and intuitive user interface designs that function seamlessly with life.
Who Is Johnny Mango
If you had asked me, I’d say I’m a designer first and a developer second. I’m a motivated individual who loves to surf the web and the earth. Designing good user experience has become an obsession for me.
I am always available for freelance or consulting work.
Writing clean code is something I take a lot of pride in. The ability to hand off your project to a team member or stranger with little to no down time is imperative to the overall bigger picture.
Designing “mobile first” is not a new practice, but it has become the standard. Organizing your content with an idea of how it will display on a mobile device is essential to the overall site success.
USER FOCUSED DESIGN
By understanding the human emotions, motivations, and beliefs that surround a task, a user interface can be designed to accommodate and support user behaviors in a way that the users experience will be natural and satisfying.
Design trends are always coming and going. Being aware of the current trends is beneficial. Predicting and staying ahead of the trends thats an art.
What is good design?
Back in the early 1980s, “Dieter Rams” was becoming increasingly concerned by the state of the world around him – “An impenetrable confusion of forms, colors and noises.” Aware that he was a significant contributor to that world, he asked himself an important question: is my design good design?
As good design cannot be measured in a finite way he set about expressing the ten most important principles for what he considered was good design. (Sometimes they are referred as the ‘Ten commandments’.)
